Alfred Lambremont Webre, J.D., M.Ed.(Canada) is an author, futurist, lawyer (member of the District of Columbia Bar), peace advocate, environmental activist, space activist and is known as the founding father of exopolitics. Webre was Director of a proposed 1977 Carter White House off planet culture communication project as futurist at Stanford Research Institute. President Jimmy Carter reported his own 1969 UFO encounter, and made a 1976 election campaign promise to create more transparency with the UFO issue. This initiative was ended in the fall of 1977 because of the political climate at the time. Today, Webre is the International Director of the Institute for Cooperation in Space (ICIS). He is a founder of the No Weapons in Space Campaign (NOWIS), a Canadian coalition to prevent the weaponization of space and he coordinates the Campaign for Cooperation in Space. He is a co-architect of the Space Preservation Act and the Space Preservation Treaty introduced to the U.S. Congress by Congressman Kucinich to ban space-based weapons. Webre is a former Fulbright Scholar, a graduate of Yale University, Yale Law School (Yale Law School National Scholar), and of the University of Texas Counseling Program. He was elected Clinton-Gore Delegate to the 1996 Texas Democratic Convention; and a Member of the Governor's Emergency Taskforce on Earthquake Preparedness, State of California (1980-82), appointed by Gov. Jerry Brown. Webre produced and hosted The Instant of Cooperation, the first live radio broadcast between the USA and the then Soviet Union, carried live by Gosteleradio and NPR satellite in 1987. He is also an on-air host on Vancouver Coop Radio CFRO 102.7 FM. www.coopradio.org

David Krieger is a founder of the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation, and has served as President of the Foundation since 1982. Dr. Krieger has lectured throughout the United States, Europe and Asia on issues of peace, security, international law, and the abolition of nuclear weapons. He has received many awards for his work for a more peaceful and nuclear weapons-free world. He has been interviewed on CNN Hotline, MSNBC, NPR and many other television and radio shows nationally and internationally. He served as Panel Chair of the Citizens Hearing on the Legality of U.S. Actions in Iraq, held in Tacoma, Washington in 2007, and as a member of the Jury of Conscience of the World Tribunal on Iraq, held in Istanbul in 2005. Dr. Krieger is the author of many studies of peace in the Nuclear Age. He is also the author of two books of peace poetry. He is a recipient of the ECOMIR Peace and Environmental Prize of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (2006); the Freedom From War Peace Leadership Award (2006); Global Greens Millennium Award for International Environmental Leadership (2005); the Peace Writing Award of the Peace and Justice Studies Association and OMNI Center for Peace, Justice and Ecology (2005); the Peace Educator of the Year Award of the Consortium of Peace Research, Education and Development (2001); the Gakudo Peace Award of the Ozaki Yukio Memorial Foundation (2001); the Soka Gakkai Hiroshima Peace Award (2000); the Peace Award of the International Journal of Humanities and Peace (2000); the Soka Gakkai International Peace and Culture Award (1997); the Soka University Award of Highest Honor (1997); the Peace Award of the War and Peace Foundation (1996); the Big Canvas Award of Santa Barbara Magazine (1996); and the Bronze Medal of the Hungarian Engineers for Peace (1995). Dr. Krieger is a Councilor of the World Future Council. He is also a founder and a member of the Global Council of Abolition 2000, a global network of over 2000 organizations and municipalities committed to the elimination of nuclear weapons.

Dr. Ravindra Kumar is an eminent writer, thinker, scholar, political-scientist, peace-worker and educationist, who has more than 150 works on great personalities of the Indian Sub-Continent including Mahatma Gandhi, and on various social, religious, political, historical, educational and cultural issues to his credit. Some of his well-known works include Morality & Ethics in Public Life, Theory & Practice of Gandhian Non-Violence, Non-Violence & Its Philosophy, Five Thousand Years of Indian Culture, Mahatma Gandhi at the Close of Twentieth Century, Towards Peace, Fundamentals of Civilization, Towards Buddha, Gautama Buddha and the Dhammapada, and Mahatma Gandhi in the Beginning of Twenty-First Century. A noted Indologist and the Former Vice-Chancellor of Meerut University, India, Dr. Ravindra Kumar has been associated with a number of national and international academic, cultural, educational, social and peace organizations & institutions. He has visited many countries of the world as a Visiting Professor and Scholar and has delivered more than 350 lectures around the world on subjects related to Asian values, civilization, culture, economic-cooperation, Gandhism, human rights, international understanding, way of life and world peace.Dr. Ravindra Kumar is the Editor of Global-Peace-International Journal. Between 1993 and 2007 he has organized many national and international seminars at various places on Religion & Politics, Morality & Ethics, Education, Peace & Development, Non-Violence & Democracy, Human Rights & Relevance of Mahatma Gandhi. Besides Nirala Smriti Samman, Shan-i-Kaum, Ambassador for Peace, Sardar Patel National Award and other honours, Padma Shri was awarded to Dr. Ravindra Kumar by H.
